Apparently Nick Barnes said at that on the whistle live tonight that he’d heard about a flight from Italy that was cancelled. Not sure he’s normally one to make stuff up.
Why do they do it? For kicks? Anyone told him to behave?
If they can put a player left out of a game, together with a mention on a transfer forum ...
... then find a flight that matches, some people will believe them.
As long as they get clicks they don't really care if it's plausible or not.
If I may jump on this. In the past I've genuinely had great information, be it behind the scenes, on the pitch, incoming players, outgoings etc. I've posted a few bits here and there and also kept stuff to myself or shared privately,some of which have changed that the last minute. What I can say now is the club is as tight as a submarines boot. Yes there's been leaked potential kits, photo shoots etc, but anything other than that, the club let's f**k all out anymore. 99.9 percent of the leaks have been plugged. The speculation is fun, then Brad busts everyone's bubble. The club is professional as they come and it seems anyone that's passed on information in the past know doesn't. Absolutely no harm in speculation, but it's as much as it is. Lads on here know who they are that got information, same lads that know its dried up now.
He's no worse or better than the hundreds of others, desperately trying to get 'likes' and donations ...

yep and no harm speculating and enjoying the ride. Whilst also trusting the club is in good hands and will be doing everything it can to get it right
Some reputable journos do know about it (since this morning) but won’t report until they have a name/or the club say so. They’re being very guarded and journos are wary about biting the hands that feed them.
Tbf if Nick Barnes said it was raining outside I'd still go and check.
