United's biggest (not only) problem last season was the lack of a clinical finisher - they've now acquired 2 ...and could even get a third with Sesko... So far Spurs acquisitions have been rather underwhelming and I'd be backing United to finish above them as a consequence...
They will both improve, but for me, last season, Spurs biggest issue was tactical, not a personnel issue. United was the opposite, they dont have the players, they need players across the board, and yes they have signed a couple of good players, but two players arent going to drag you from from 15th into the Champions League, which is where a club like United need to be, not just for statures sake, but for financial reasons too, given how broke they appear to be.
Well yeah, you said this on our board a couple of days ago. So, you're basically regurgitating things said by which ever talking head spouts the loudest. But you don't use social media, bar X of course, so it must be your itk journalist mate. We had little cutting edge last season, yet we've now bought Mbuemo and Cunha, so that's a clear and obvious improvement right there. The intention is a striker and keeper in this window. And Amorim will now fully implement what he has planned, with a pre season. And we're not skint, we're balancing the books. Which should have been done properly over the last decade. We haven't got a sugar daddy, same as everyone else, but United do make money.
I dont use any social media. I dont use X. I watch a lot of Youtube though. Listen to a lot of pundits (not talksport though, give me some credit). But I watch United Stand, DR Sport, The Club, true Geordie, The Overlap etc

As Boro found out with Robson, buying the best players doesn't mean you'll win anything if you're manager is ****.
