I was last there in 2010 and loads of EU money was going into roads and infrastructure projects. Canny are the Irish. Very good at maintaining their unique culture and identity, but also very progressive and outward looking
Yeah I mean it was a sweeping statement, and of course there are issues with immigration across Europe. But more as a general observation about the Irish government approach over the years has been very outward looking towards Europe and indeed the US
