Still struggling with this one Robby - why would a team LIKE Fulham that ARE in the Europa League give anything to be in

I have the United supporters that cannot see they have been fairly fortubnate with the draw at times, sure Fergie shouted 'FIX' to the world when UNited got drawn with Real Madrid in the knockout stages. And those teams you mentioned, none were as bad as schalke:)

Every team gets good draws, every team gets bad. I remember back in the mid 90s when we got stuck in the same group as Juve twice in a row and next season got Bayern and Barca and fans were crying fix. And what did we do? We won the thing! :) This season we get the "easy" draw and go out. Ultimately people who claim some teams only do as well as they do cos they get lucky draws are just talking out of their arse - you get the draw, you play the teams, everyone gets a bit of luck at some point, and you either win the trophy or you don't. End of.

P.S. Liverpool 6-1 FC Zurich says Zurich were a lot worse than Schalke. Even the Zurich goal was a dodgy penalty ;)

A lot of the stick is just because United were fortunate but some do forget finishing top of the group plays its part too.

Zurich Our liverpool from then would have beaten schalke 20 0, how, how how many chances did ye miss in both legs, I'd say Liverpool of then 30 0 over the two games, that's how bad schalke were, Rooney and Hernandez should ave had 4 each but for poor poor finishing, you watched the first leg right? not even a training match, a sunday kickabout:)

Aye, but we were fortunate this season and how did that work out again? A fortunate draw can't make up for a sub standard team - Inter got the same "fortunate draw" against Schalke last season and bye bye Inter...

I'm pretty sure the first leg for you guys vs Zurich was the same - didn't your guys just play keep ball for the last twenty mins knowing that Zurich would never score three at Anfield? And even then the Swiss didn't get a sight of goal. Tho' that was probably as much to do with how good your 77 team was I guess - hard to objectively compare two teams across 35 years.

Rubbish. City have until at least 2014/15 to meet FFP and Chelsea already have

City wont comply even they know that.

This season counts towards it and they'll be posting another huge loss this year.

Getting dumped outta the CL early is likely to have shattered their last delusional forecast for making the FFP.

This is the equivilant of a man with no legs laughing at a man who isn't very fast at running.

What the **** have you got to laugh at? Think how bad we did and then compare it to how bad you would do if you were even near good enough to get into the Champions League in the first place.

Raped in Europe, last night? 2-1 not even close to a raping, not good but get a grip. You really are that desperate? How have Liverpool been doing in Europe this season?
