This video just screams to me that Talbi is better from the left haha, if we sign Lauriente then I assume Talbi is an option for both sides
I see Leeds are signing Sean Longstaff for around £10m Decent signing for a newly promoted club, especially as he’s their 3rd choice CM target after we stole Diarra & Sadiki.
I really like Abline but I don't blame us if we don't want to pay their asking price like, 30m is steep
Its mental we have two games on Saturday. Feels a week early. We do seem to have more pre-season fixtures than I can remember though which has to be a good thing considering (hopeful) volume of newbies
When we were in League One or the Championship he said that he didn't report on us as we just aren't interesting to the national press. Which I did genuinely personally kind of understand. What I don't understand is why now that we're a Premier League club, we're not getting very regular updates from the likes of Sky and the Athletic, like all other premier clubs get. My only logical explanation is that the club are asking the press not to. All other clubs have their own dedicated The Athletic journalist. We don't... the closest we have are Michael Walker and Phil Buckingham, and they've been radio silent on us for quite a while, not even reporting on our signings. Diarra's transfer was covered by the Athletic's Chelsea correspondent and Sadiki's by one of their "bank" journalists.
Perri also in training yesterday and he’s supposed to be close to a move away so shows it can be close and they can train
yeh like I said yesterday its in the buying club's interest that they DO train. Last thing you want is a player coming in and being so far behind
When we were in leauge one. He put out that for people constantly asking about transfer news on sunderland to pretty much stop, he then said there isn't much to report because not many people are interested in leauge ones clubs when someone asked him why he was constantly reporting on Newcastle but very little on Sunderland.
The amount of comments I seen yesterday about Mika saying “well that’s over” “not coming” “it was never happening anyway” because he trained was unbelievable.
I am in that corner but not because he has trained, but as their has been no real link to anything other than being interested.
What's so hard to understand? Until someone observes the transfer it is both happening and not happening. Over and not even started yet. Simple as that.
