In a 50th, done now though it's the youngest girlfriends family so don't really know anyone. Karaoke soon and even though you've all never met me I imagine you know that's not for me.
Not as good as they look, cooked low and slow by the hosts but a little dry. Not easy to do that to a ham. The beef was silverside but brisket holds the moisture better imo.
Got a new BBQ from the kids today, my Father’s Day treat is to build the bloody thing and cook lunch.
Been nibbling on the gift the kids got me for Father’s Day from the local butchers. Will have to hit the gym hard all week for this.
Pastry and Lager, that's heartburn central for me. Used to love a pie too, even more so a nice Cornish pasty. Bastard reflux
Knackered after return from holiday but fancied a decent bit of tea where i could use the leftovers fro work today - Chicken and steak fajitas with a bit of fresh chimichurri.
Been on these because of other long term meds for nearly 15 years. Starting to taper off now as they also cause issues, but sure I could drink acid and not get ‘hesrtburn’
I was offered those but at the time was reading up on Omeprazole and issues people were having with them after even 6 months of taking them. All PPI's can have serious side effects after prolonged usage, especially causing vitamin deficiency, so I gave them a swerve, cut out the foods that cause most of the problems and have a couple of glugs of Gaviscon advance and jobs a good un
settled for a nice thin onion and fresh green chilli pizza nice and simple and yum portion of fries too
Ah, not what I thought they were then. I thought they were the stomach lining tablets that you take with certain meds.
They're used for that too, as that's what they do line your stomach. Seem to remember they're given out when people use drugs like naproxen
ah makes sense then. Yeah I use to take Naproxen until it made me really ill. I take Coxib these days, one particular doctor and a pharmacist keeps telling me I need something like that, but when I read up on them, apparently Coxib don't need them. I also checked with my original doctor who also said I don't need them. So seems to me the message is a bit confusing. I've always managed Coxib without the stomach liners and been fine, and I've been taking them for years.
Is it just me or do a huge chunk of meds have side effects effecting your stomach / digestive system . must stop reading the info leaflets
