Looking forward to it

planning on doing all 19 away to make the most of it

hopefully first game of the season is at home it’s the only game of the season I miss
I think it will be at home....isn't there something else on at the SoL the following week? May be mistaken.

Only chance we have of getting Amad is if the following happens:

A: Man United need to raise funds for targets after they get mbeumo and they can't shift Sancho, Antony, Rashord and or Garnacho
B: He fancies the move and doesn't mind a reduction in wages
C: We want to risk basically spending half our budget on him because i can only see a deal of 40+ mill add ons and a heafty sell on being accepted.
And meet his wages, which will be very heavy.

Having looked into it I think Amad is a doable transfer. He is currently on a base contract worth between £100,000 and £120,000 per week and a quick search will bring up results in that bracket.

Considering we agreed to pay Enzo £60,000 a week whilst still in the Championship suggests we will stretch the budget providing we have safety measures in place, a mitigated risk if you like. I believe for the right transfer we could potentially stretch the wage budget to towards the 100k a week mark, but it would need to have a safety measure in place for relegation because a -25% would not cut it at those rates, so Amad would probably need to agree to a -60% cut if relegated.

A loan whereby we take on as much of his wage as possible, let's say £100k a week and the transfer become permanent if we stay up, for a fee of £25m is something I could see the club going for.

There is one concern I have though, RLB requires his players to work hard off the ball, the attacking players are not quite as free as they were under Mowbray and I'm unsure if Amad has all the attributes to endear himself to RLB in the longer term.

Same boat, was hoping for a home game against a mid table side or away somewhere like Bournemouth. Don’t get back into the UK until early hours of Sunday 17th

Would be nice, not sure there's a world they take 25m

This one:
Yeah I mean like I say think they'll be able to shift as many of those as they want, Amad hasn't even been playing the same position as any of them under amorim though so maybe that wouldn't even be a thought.

In the event this does happen - someone will actually want to buy Amad so they don't have to massively reduce their price.

I have no worries about amad working hard, was an absolute grafter here tracking back even when playing false 9 even for man utd he has been thats how he got shunted to RWB because he actually works and tackles hard

This is the thing. We don't just need Man Utd to be willing to sell for a price we can afford. We also need all other clubs to not be willing to pay more.

He showed enough form last season that he'd have top european clubs interested. He loves the club, you can't deny that, but so did Jobe.
