Do people really buy into this idea? I mean, so long as expectations are tempered ie the player is now old and will obviously have diminished physical attributes, I don't see it as being real, like losing to Coventry since the 70's or Sheff Utd can't win at Wembley etc these are all statistics waiting to be broken.
Defoe was different imo. He literally hadnt kicked a ball in anger for ages. Been coaching at Rangers. Henderson has played at least. I will wait and see what role he has, if indeed he geta one.
that reads like they’re just re-reporting the other tweet and naming the 3 promoted clubs because they don’t know which it is
Kwame Poku on paper seems a very sensible signing in terms of taking advantage of our new position for long term benefit
Freeman is just a complete freak of an athlete at basically 6'3, rapid, great engine and good defensive decision making. Not perfect in possession but he has all the ingredients to coach into a premier league right back, 2million quid for Humes backup could be great business.
Seems like he will likely be on the move his deal expires in Dec 25 according to transfermarkt although it seems the club have a option
But yes from me on Freeman. Him and Singo are exactly what I want in terms of physicality, hopefully that's they type we are targeting.
Really hope we don’t bring Henderson back. He’s a shallow little prick, who chucked away all his morals and let a lot of people down for a pot of gold. He’s the exact sort of signing we should be keeping away from.
