I’m sure some think that clubs just decide to start looking for and signing players once the season finishes and that they only look for one player per position at a time.
I’m sure at one point that’s exactly what we were doing ‘why am I looking at ibrahimovic on this list?’ :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Who we fancying first up?

Winnable home game for me. It’s vital we start well

Looking forward to Spurs and Everton’s new ground. I’m friends with supporters of both clubs and I’ve already been promised a ticket in the home end, if I can’t get tickets in the away section.

Me too

Been to Spurs but not for a football game. Unbelievable ground, everything about it is class

What reason? Wouldn’t fancy getting stuffed first up

It's partly just what I think will happen. I think early on in the season is the best time to play a good team, before they've found their rhythm. I don't think the "welcome to the Premier League" vibe does any harm either. Getting stuffed off Liverpool is expected. Draw/Lose a winnable home game and it's an awful start.

The best we can hope for is playing teams the weekend after they’ve been playing in Europe midweek. That’s a massive advantage if you can draw them games.

Good point. I remember Fulham beating us at home in 2013. Horrific start

Yep. Mags at home after they’ve been away in the CL on the Wednesday night, please…
