One more win and we’re safe.

Cardiff would need two wins from games against Sheff U, WBA, Norwich and Oxford and they aren’t gonna get it, realistically.

We just need to beat Portsmouth, Derby, Preston or, ideally, Swansea on Friday and if Cardiff don’t win, it’s a six point gap with three to play plus goal difference.
Every point is vital and we still need 5 b*stards, no complacency.

Thought we could have been 3 or 4 down at half time. Pathetic defending at times tonight and we rode our luck a lot. That being said we had the best of the chances at that point with Palmer. That was our only effort at goal in the first half and it took until 65 minutes to get our second one. Our winner vs Wednesday and the point tonight paper over a lot of big cracks, BUT we're slowly gaining points towards safety.

I'd honestly start Drameh for the rest of the season now and bring Coyle on to close games out. Full credit to Amrabat and Kamara for being the difference tonight. Amrabat seems to make things happen. I'm in two minds on Slater. Was poor in general play but popped up when we needed him to a couple of times. Gelhardt the opposite. Alright in general play and then fell (literally) on a couple of occasions where he could have made something happen.

Beat Swansea, then finish the job by beating Preston and job done and Easter eggs all round

Bring Coyle on to close games out. What, in the U21s?

Same but Selles absolutely loves him. Said his mentality off the pitch is unreal and they literally have to drag him off the training ground every day as he just wants to keep playing and practicing.

Same with Hughes, said he had an elite mentality.

Problem is better clubs than us with more chance of progressing will want him.
Shame, as he is the one player for a long while that I would push the boat out for.

Hughes is probably the most deserving to be team captain next season. Coyle can stay as club captain. When Greaves was named vice-captain, I got the feeling it was because he was a local academy product. Hughes actually strikes me as a natural leader.

Nice to see Kamara with a smile on his face. For a player who has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism (mine included), he’s come up with some incredibly important goals.

Strange old game that. Oddly enjoyable. Peurta must be on the naughty step, because him not been in that side is criminal. If we do stay up I hope Selles shows a bit more to his tactical side of the game, I’ll just put it down to a lack of personal and the situation at the minute. We haven’t really altered the way we play for the last 2 and half years. It’s boring, to be honest modern football is fairly boring. Why sides think it’s better for centre halves to have the majority of the ball rather than your best midfielders is odd. Coventry played more of a style I liked.
