A shot shy striker
You must log in or register to see images

He got 18 goals for Liverpool last season and 15 the season before. He's got 7 this season, which isn't the best, but he's in a bit of a low patch atm which he'll come out of.

Shot shy? Compare the above stats to the likes of Emmanuel Riviere, Luuk De Jong etc whilst they were at us.

I lie not, Nunez is just shot of confidence atm, he is quality and would be good for us. Plus we'd be able to get him for a knock down price.

This isn't a swap for Isak though, as those Liverpool tools seem to think is happening.
I agree. There is a player in there and his work rate is immense.

He just needs some confidence as you say.

Take him for 30m and it’s a bargain.

But also keep Isak.

The Isak sale story is not normal...I get transfer talk is normal and it's not like we don't talk about signing other clubs players, but the absolute desperation from the media to peddle this move is ridiculous.

Obviously he's a good player, so it's inevitable other clubs would want to buy him, but all day every ****ing day and the only thing they talk about in regards to Newcastle. it's never who are Newcastle going to bring in, and what do they need to compete... It's agenda based and very deliberate imo.

The potential of him signing again could make it highly worthwhile though, because they'll all realise what's going on and sit down.

I get the impression that - if they can even be bothered - him, Howe and others find it all very amusing and possibly even galvanising, rather than having the opposite effect.

I mean, if he really wants to go and a club offers 150 million he'll be gone, but it's just all based on **** all atm.

It's the way they look at Newcastle as if they're on some kind of poverty safari still...muppets.

This big 6 brainwashed vomit in full flow.

Get Botman, Tonali and Isak

Exactly - if it is a league record bid, we will probably take it because at £150m+ the damage we can do across the squad would be immense. Past that we hold the card's for another 12 months regardless.

Edwards didn't help when he started peddling a figure because people took that as he's for sale. Every player is for sale, but nobody is going to offer 150 million anyway.

It's the assumption that he's going to demand to leave I don't like... He may or may not want to go.... Newcastle are now winning things and could add this summer, yet none of these muppets are even aware of that and certainly aren't talking about it.

I wish the club would grow a pair of balls and just come out and say he's not for sale at any price. It's notable they haven't and the players not committing to saying he's staying either. Him saying he's happy here means very little.. Anyone can be happy, but still want something more. We will find out I guess.

Ultimately the player could kill the talk and he hasn't has he? He's given a politicians answer, which is what he probably been told to say by his agent.

My gut feeling is that he will stay if we're in the champions league, and if not he'll be open to a move.... Then it's whether the club dig in like Palace did to Newcastle.

Min we should accept for Isak is 120m. Arguably best CF prospect in the world besides Haaland.

80-90 would be insane considering the price of Hojlund, anthony, caicedo etc.
