Listening on Talk Sport as I'm away, they said the cross looked to have taken a couple of deflections but my mate watching reckons Patto just missed the ball. So no idea.

Watching the replays, that little chip by mayenda with his weak foot to get round the keeper for the chance he put wide was quality.

Didn't realize that, needs dropping and replacing next year. A team going for promotion needs a better keeper than him. I really don't get the love in for him, need a decent all round keeper not just a shot stopper. I think the fans in the ground that pay the money every week to go realize he's not good enough
Definitely time to give Patto a rest we do with other players, let's bring our other goalie in from loan hes lighting up the lower division or Bayern München goalkeeper Ron-Thorben Hoffmann has officially joined Sunderland on loan for the rest of the season.
Agree like massively exaggerated imo. Cardiff had two shots the whole half one from 25 yards then the clanger from patto. We were hardly defending in the north stand and still looked the more threatening imo.
We need another right winger thats what I am thinking, and have been thinking for over 12 months, obviously you think Roberts is worth his place in the starting line up statistics, and common sense says otherwise.

They also deserve **** all. The goal is the only thing they've put on target. We had the vast majority of the ball and chances (not a lot clear cut), even if we did drop off a little.
We might not be playing well, but they've done nothing except accept a gift from our keeper.
Either that or get Watson on, another winger to hold on to the ball and attack them puts them on the back foot. Rigg is not a winger, bad call from Regis

And that's the problem. We're relying on Roberts to find his form of 2 seasons ago because we don't have another fit right winger at the club. Players without competition become complacent and he hasn't had proper competition since Amad was here.
I'm saying that he is currently worth his place in the side as currently there is no better replacement.

But it's not Roberts fault that currently he is our only decent option on the right.
I'm sure Watson could convert to a right winger given a few games there he can't be any worse than Roberts
