My best ever triple captain was when Aguero got five goals in one game against Newcastle. 75pts from a single-match gameweek. One slow decline since then.

I saw a great stat the other day that Saka has more G/A than Palmer in the last 75 days and Saka has been injured for 74 of them. No idea if it's true but it's funny so I'm going with it.

Each of those misses I was screaming at the screen. Any of those go in and I would have won my H2H match and gone top of my mini-league. Instead I lost to the **** who's bottom of the league.
 
We have Leicester at Home next, which should be a pretty standard win, and am hoping Palmer can get something in that game, so am gonna leave him in my team for that one, but if he has another stinker in that game, I am gonna transfer him out!

That was my thought for Southampton who are just as ****e as Leicester. Useless gimp. He'll blank, then I'll transfer him out, then he'll get a hattrick at the emirates. Guaranteed.

According to the latest stats ... that table thingy... Southampton are considerably ****tier ... next you'll be claiming Arsenal are just as good as Liverpool ...<whistle>
 
Carra has caused some controversy over his comments regarding Salah winning the balon dor, saying that afcon wasn't a major enough tournament to win in comparison with the euros or the champions league.

I dont think carra is wrong tbh the standard of afcon doesn't touch the champions league and probably not the euros either.

Nothing touches the standard of the champions league.
But the AFCON is probably comparable to the Euros and Copa America these days.
Its still probably ranked 3rd of the three comps, but its not a million miles away like it was 25 years ago. Theres tons of great African players these days.

Nah ... by the time you get to the Euros finals there are generally no complete mugs there - they've gone out in the qualifying group stages - seen some AFCON finals group games that have been woeful ... gets going around the knock outs mind ...
