SCORING & RULES

For each goal scored by your chosen 'Team 1' you will score 2 points. For each goal scored by your other 3 chosen teams you will receive 1 point. You will also receive 1 point for each goal scored by the team allocated to you by your opponent. For your chosen goalscorer, points are awarded as follows:-first goal in the game - 2 points, any subsequent goal - 1 point.
If any of the teams that you (or your opponent) select do not play for any reason then 1 point will be awarded.
You are head-to-head with your opponent so the player scoring the most points advances to the next round. In the event of a tie the player with the most 'goalscorer' points will advance to the next round. If this is still a tie, then the points for Team 1 will decide the winner. If still a tie, then 'Team 2' points will be checked, then 'Team 3' and then 'Team 4'. If it is still a tie after all that then a fight to the death will decide the winner (or maybe a coin toss
).
