3-2 FT. Another dogshit performance against a very poor team, but this time we won.
We'll need to be far better than that against Leicester on the weekend.
Hopefully we'll have a few more players to choose from.

Is this really where we are? Celebrating an iffy victory against a poor German side like we just won the Champions League?
I know there must be some relief in the camp, but these optics are not great.
Says a lot about our fanbase that we cannot even be happy when seeing that Deki has given birth...

The obvious concern is how utterly shagged the players looked in the last ten minutes, summed up by Archie Gray keeling over at the fulltime whistle

While there's fair excuses for a few of them out there, there certainly isn't one for Porro

I'm baffled why we started Forster in front of Austin after we lost Vicario
That's what he's there for and he's proven at a good level, while Austin has barely played any games at any level.
Austin certainly looks a lot better suited to Postecoglou's style of football, though.
I think Forster's played more Champions League games than Austin's played games.

Eh? Porro has played the most (or second most) minutes of the squad this season. It’s him and Kulu I’m worried about next.

Another game last night where I found myself tearing my hair out, but let’s not forget it’s a win away from home after a terrible spell of form.
There were times we played really well, but as usual, we shot ourselves in the foot, plenty of times too.
The reality is that by half time we could have been 5-0 up, and shouldn’t have had such a close final score line if we’d taken our chances.
Ange’s set up clearly makes us vulnerable at the back as we all know, but it’s time we really thought about the quality we recruit in attacking positions to counteract that fragility. We need ruthless attackers who are going to take chances and kill games.
Looking at all of our options (even when all fully fit) I have little confidence in so many of them. For a variety of reasons, we’ve not got 1 player at the moment who I’d genuinely bank on for close to 20 goals a season.
However, that’s a pipe dream at the moment, especially as a defender and a DM seem like an impossible ask.
