Sounds like Danny hall says we’re still loan to buy which I’m happy with either way I’m happy with cannon in just hope the club do due diligence financially let’s see who the player picks
His ability on the ball and in tight spaces is incredible, watch how many turns he jinks away from someone or fakes a pass out wide then drives inside or to the other wing, has really good body feints and dribbling ability and rarely loses the ball this way. When he plays further up the pitch his drives forward are very effective His range of passing is good, he can play it between the lines effectively or ping one out wide if he needs to, plays lots of little reverse or disguised passes into the midfield after taking it off the back four. Infront of goal he has improved a lot this season even though he rarely gets up there due to his role now, his goal away st Swansea was incredible. Defensively he's been very good as well. I wouldn't say he's the strongest in the tackle but reads the play and can intercept and recover the ball very effectively
If Cannon was here for talks yesterday, you'd think we would have a good chance of getting it done. You often hear that when you want someone you don't let them leave until they've signed. And we've been after him for 18 months now. All depends on when he's spoken to Sheffield United but I'd fancy KLD , KS and Harvey to sell the dream
Definitely think you are being massively harsh on him like, Jobe has been class this season but for me Neil plays a part in that. Positionally Neil is a lot better than Jobe, and helps Jobe so much - Jobe helps Neil at times as well No matter what I say you'll not agree with and likewise Neil had a few poor games at the start of the season but other than that he's had a good season - the last month he is on a whole different level and has been the best player in the team He deserves to be captain because RLB trusts him, as does all the players. Neil never goes hiding, he is always looking to get on the ball and he is always looking to play forward - that's exactly what I want to see from a leader!! Neil makes us a better team, and is one of the 1st names on the teamsheet I don't get the stick he gets at times like, the lad has carried our midfield at times this last month and dragged us back into games Last season he was a 1 man midfield and held his own while getting no support He's a top player and I hope we keep him this window
Everton have a decent sell on % so i'd imagine Leicester would prefer the offer that has more guaranteed money.
I'm pretty confident we won't be getting a quick resolution to this btw. Will go on for a fortnight waiting for a club to panic IMO.
I'd rather be in the players' ear, hopefully as has been said, he's been sold the dream We all want a good deal and financial stability But if he's a clever lad and chats with some of our lads he'll realise what we have going on here.
Bids have been accepted though and doubt the player wants to sit around, its down to him and his agent deciding which club and offer suits them best and doubt that is going to take weeks
we have tried 3 times to sign him, and failed, why I think ( i could be wrong) he wont be coming, and hopefully that we can move on to another target quickly
The lad is frustrated at not having a perm home, he won't go back to a club that'll loan him out again like they did before. I honestly think he has more potential at staying and playing here than he does elsewhere
Sounds like they are signing him to play not loan, says Moyes is looking to improve firepower with the signing, might be favourable for them as there'd be no sell on
