You could perhaps assume that without some of those players still here last years squad would have done better. Maybe they held it back.

All very true Ernie, We need strengthening over the full front three, it’s not only a struggle scoring goals it’s the fact they don’t even hold the ball up well enough out wide, we rarely get to the byline and put a decent cross in. In the midfield we have two decent players in Alzate and Puerta and adding another experienced big hard tackler needed. It’s not a great transfer window to be signing good players but some how if want to stay up they are going after to find them from somewhere. We all know we need a lot of signings but two or three of proper quality might be enough. In our position it definitely won’t be easy.

Yeah, he’s very timid for a captain. Really lovely guy, down to earth and it seems he makes an effort to include new players in the squad but as an on-field captain, he lacks that authoritarian streak.

More my point really. These players were either fine under Rosenior and are underperforming now or they were the ones holding the squad back. Who knows

Any professional footballer and potential signing that watched that display last night must be thinking ‘**** that’. It’s going to have to be a really hard sell or very expensive in the way of fees and wages to get the calibre of players that we need to make a difference.

How the actual **** have we ended up in this position with the money we’ve spent? I can only assume that there has been a massive amount of corruption with pockets lined, no names but I think we all have our suspicions of what’s actually gone on.

Not only that we have to get rid of a lot as well. This is going to be such a hard and massively important transfer window.

Personally think it’s a task too far. Would love to be proven wrong but you worry regardless what division we are in next season what the summer window brings. We have to hope of keeping players like Panduer, Hughes, Alzate, Puerta and also hope that Balloumi and Millar stick about post injury so we can finally build a squad rather than churn up the team every 12 months.

64/68 goals we scored last season left in summer. The minutes were valuable, the contribution was fairly standard. They’ve been asked to take on a bigger role and I’d argue most of them are falling well short

Seeing it the first time around it was a clear penalty forfor me, absolutely no replays needed. Yet again, and I’ve said this before and will likely say it again, Lewie Coyle always looked stressed either in or out of possession. Quality ballers always look to have loads of time on their hands, when Coyle has the ball it looks like a hot potato, and when he’s defending it looks like ‘all hell, no notion’.

Lovely lad but not a Championship right back, and certainly not a team captain for me.

    (Sorry Chazz)

I agree. However, a lot that remained weren’t really goal scorers anyway. Coyle Jones especially. Slater chipped in every now and then.

Point I’m making is that these players that are getting slated now were doing a fine job last season in an “underachieving” team. It just feels a bit hypocritical in some aspects

Definitely agree regarding players above, finishing 4th from bottom is the aim for me, We really do have to find some decent experienced players to do it, I think the loan market is going to big. Obviously though if teams much higher than us want a player we are after he will Normally go there. All we can do though is Hope and wait and see.

Both, and considering they're both relegation rivals, we can't afford to lose to them. Not sure what your point is

Every time we lose a game people say this about him or Coyle or Slater or Jacob, or Jones.

We have to grow up a bit and accept that we are going to have bad games and it doesn't mean everyone needs to written off every time it happens. We're winning every other game at the moment.

You bury your head in the sand a bit
