... not 'them'. In this case 'them' are Forest whose owner is a fat sack of shyte. "Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was given a five-match stadium ban for spitting on the floor as match officials walked past in the tunnel, an independent regulatory commission has said." This is on top of their manager, and a player, being banned for swearing at match officials. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c7v6v9g99ljo please log in to view this image
We look after our injured like Jordan Willis, Corry Evans and Huggins. This promotes a culture of player focus
As long as they don’t walk around spouting all of that “British by birth, Geordie by the grace of god” embarrassing ****e
We show respect when it’s due. We respected Sir Bobby for his management history and tenure, even when he managed them and would never, even in our wildest darkest thoughts think of spitting on a man in his 70’s
I have a distinct memory of watching either Look North or whatever was on ITV at the time of a bunch of Newcastle supporters outside Sid James Park chanting for him to be removed/sacked. They will of course deny it but I know it happened.
As an exile I used to have the local papers, and the Scottish Sunday Post, delivered and watch Look North absolutely every night because I missed the NE so much. I remember exactly what you said and can even picture the face of one of them who said 'He's taken this club as far as he can, it's time for him to go'. I also remember how Look North ignored the Fairs Cup until the final rounds ... ... it was regarded as a joke until then with teams given byes and going through on a coin toss.
For more than half of my lfe, I've been classified as a 'Geordie' by the rest of The UK. The term was used to cover people from Teeside to Northumberland. I never had any problem with this, and still don't.
After the Boro game I was at Central Station and two daft tarts shouted 'Dirty Mackem' at me ... ... when I smiled and said 'I'm a Geordie' they were so confused they couldn't find a response
