The Londoners will be selling up down there and moving up here, driving up the cost of housing, goods and services, and talking loudly in that stupid eastenders accent. It's out of order, best said in a Mitchell brother's accent for effect.
It's a hot topic within an even hotter topic and emotions are running high, but as you pointed out those who wish to discuss it can go to general chat and not clog up this useful thread.
Fair comment BT. I guess for some of us at least, our natural reaction is to (try to) raise and debate these topics with those that we have some 'affinity' with on our City message board, and this thread is the most obvious one to use. But I for one take your point. I never think of going over to that 'General Chat' board - and in particular the 'pinned' politics thread - although this stuff that is currently happening is NOT politics to my mind, at least not from the general publics side, as in Brits of every political calling, or of no particularly calling at all, are rightly concerned at what is currently going on (blatant supression of voices, blatant 2 tier policing, etc etc). Anyway, I just popped onto that thread, and pleased to see one of our own (meaning from on here!) is very active atm, including about the same issue.
The persuasion is completely irrelevant, as you've been told more times than you've mentioned Norwich's season ticket sales, you tedious old ****.
I do actually work for a living and have better things to do than continually having to delete posts from members who can't control themselves, so I'm now removing posters rather than just their posts (so the thread doesn't end up locked).
Surely it's easier to just remove stuff that's not appropriate,rather than resorting to name calling. You've got the powers,fair enough,use them equally and fairly.
