Ffs same old ****. Spain the best team in tournament but truthbe told, we have the players to win a tournament but Southgate's tactical nous just ain't up to beating the top teams. Palmer needs to be starting every game from now on !
But overall Spain have been the best side in the tournament...won all 7 games so fair play to them....

Possibly the worst aspect of our game tonight was Pickford's distribution and kicking. So many kicks went to nowhere or out to touch. Obviously he made some good saves too. Actually, I thought he could have done better in both of Spain's goals too.
I don't begrudge him for not saving the 2 Spain goals. But his kicking was very poor tonight. They couldn't play it out from the back against Spain, which is understandable. But we really needed him to be better with his kicks. Anyway, I'm not blaming him for the loss. The whole team could have been a bit better. I'm just saying the distribution from goalkeeper was the biggest thing holding us back tonight, imo.
