Dutch have reacted well, but it’s still really sad watching this team and thinking back to the brilliant way they played back in the 70s and 80s. And even bits of the 90s. Much more pragmatic nowadays. Obviously de Jong’s injury hasn’t helped, but Koeman is no Hiddink or Van Gaal as a coach, let alone a Cruyff or the genius Michels. Extra time anyone?
