Surely there’s been enough time to say to Boro, we sign him on the 30/6, you need to complete the deal from us on the 1/7. We don’t need him at preseason. if they don’t then we keep him, it’s not like we don’t need him currently. Everything just takes so long
Normally selling for a profit and reinvesting would be exciting yes. However, we are currently at our bare bones of a squad with 30 days to go till Bristol City. We have a new manager incoming with an all risk all reward style of play that takes a bit of time to make work. Yes there are some being vitriolic but there is fair criticism to be had. Off the field Acun and the team have done wonders. On the field remains to be seen right now. On the latter we have all the ingredients to have a real boom or bust season. And to top it all off we keep getting news of players going. We ****ed it last season going all in and have now the squad to show for that. Acun is a lucky man that Greaves developed into the player he has so we can sell him to reinvest.
