The wording is bollocks, he hasnt rejected it at all, he has put contract talks on hold tho until he knows who the coach is
I don't believe he's "turned down" a deal. He'll just be delaying signing it, the same way Rigg is. Turning down is a finite thing. The journalist has intentionally gone for emotive language.
…totally understandable. I don’t believe he’ll be here much longer regardless of who the new manager is anyway. Good player who’ll have plenty of ambition.
100% this. Heard this about Neil at the end of the season. Loads of the squad are deeply unhappy about the second half of last season. Basically felt abandoned.
Totally agree, need to see the direction the club is going before committing for longer Rigg is more of a risk tho, hes put his on hold as well by sounds of it At least neil still has a couple yrs on contract
I am fed up of all of this mind, whether it’s true or not, the fact it’s taking this long to get a bastard manager in is leading to stories like this popping up, it’s a disgrace
It’s a massive concern the last 6 months. I’m confident that once we get our new gaffer all will be well. And we will quickly forget this ****e period. But until then it’s natural to be concerned at all levels
Always a nice reasoned response on this forum, that quote from Alex crooks is all over pyat book now and many won’t know he could be slightly biased
Well said. From the outside looking in looks all a bit of an uncertain mess. It's natural for people to be concerned.
Dont think folk have said that all, some are more relaxed than others but all (well most) are concerned about whats happening Its natural to feel like that until a manager is announced - im like that even if it takes a week to appoint someone
I'll have concerns over what I know ... ... but I won't dance to every tune posted on Twitter by so called journalists. They must love posting scare stories and watching the reaction, f*ck them. Before I give any judgement I'll wait to see who we appoint and what he has to say.
