If we believe he can get us up it's peanuts tbh ... ... if we don't we shouldn't even consider him. On a different subject I think/hope/believe we'll soon have a boost on a totally different . KLD has stuck to his word and tried to make the club sustainable. He hasn't ploughed his own money in but never said he would. As I've said before the only alternative to 'sustainable' is unsustainable. If KLD goes there are only two options. ... ... a new owner spending his own money or mortgaging the club, either means debt of one kind or another. However, there's a question ... would you accept any owner providing they spent as you would wish?
Mowbray loaned Harvey Elliot and Morton from Liverpool, Harwood Bellis from City too and we didn’t loan a single player from them. Always thought it was a missed opportunity.
**** it I've got more excited about Rosenior than I did any of the other candidates. I need a lie down WIll be Hecky now
Couldn't care less about experience, myself. Just want to see improvements. If that means experience... magic. If it doesn't... magic.
Michael is right in KS however, it's not just that. The bigger issue is the structure he has imposed and the insisting of some to remain in key positions. That's been the bigger issue. That said, I don't think we will have to wait much longer.
Insisting Dodds stays in his current role by any chance? I don’t think speakman or Dodds will be here next year if so
hopefully find out in the next few days I guess. If Rosenior brings in an assitant Im happy enough. Don't want to see Dodds confirmed as his assistant
Agreed... Can't be bothered with the club structure debate again... then you say but We agree to disagree. KS released in August
Hmm. Is it better than we get the right man to fit with the club's model, or do we bring in the best coach we can? Genuine question... In Neil and Mowbray we had 2 very good managers/coaches who weren't fully accepting of the supposed model and both were destined to rail against the regime in different ways. In Beale we apparently had a coach fully aligned, but completely ****e (although he too moaned about recruitment)
Doesn't make practical or professional sense to allow him to be involved in the head coach search and also the transfer window if we are going to sack him afterwards. Nobody can answer how that would be a positive thing, nobody can tell me who would be running recruitment if he was leaving in September, nobody can tell me what model we would be working under if the creator of the model is being sacked, nobody can tell me how it makes sense to bring in a new DoF and force them to work with a head coach they didn't select. So please, explain how allowing him to be involved in the most important summer in the clubs recent history makes sense if we are going to remove him in September?
Beale was the only one not to bring in an assistant. Dodds has been here as 1st team coach (or other title) under Johnson, Neil & Mowbray so there should be no reason why Rosenior doesn't bring his own man in with him. It would be foolish not to bring in someone you know and trust
completely agree. the only stumbling block, which I hope is easily overcome, is that Dodds was "promoted" under Beale, so would need to accept a new job as a first team coach, or leave.
