New Head Coach

I really liked the sound of Maric, just feel he is a really exciting coach that could make an unreal head coach - he would have to bring some experience in with him

Im not great on knowing what coaches are available or up n coming - just focus on players but Maric def stands out as an exciting option

 

Spent more than ANY OTHER ****ING CLUB WITHIN 2 YEARS OF PROMOTION FROM LEAGUE ONE EVER. Honestly this fan base is thick as ****

 

And some people will still blame the club for not getting him signed up!

 

Spent money he loaned us in the 1st place. and you think im thick.

 

Its not on a shoestring tho, we are spending money

I agree the model/system needs tweaked tho, all good 'businesses' will make tweaks to their operations to improve and we have ti keep doing that to improve n become the club we all know we can be

 

Thats how ownership works. Brighton are in hundreds of millions of pounds of debt to their owner and they are branded as a well ran club. Just because KLD is doing things differently to your **** of a mate Donald.

 

Just playing catch up on events of the last couple of days and as many others have already said, however this appointment ends up you should be sticking around mate.

 

Because we have a billionaire owner, he should spend his own money on signing players.

 

To be fair Bob, its in the accounts in writing that KLD intends to convert the £18m he has put into the club into shares (i.e the club dont have to pay him that money back).

Replace him with a competent Director of Football who is empowered to make decisions and isn't hamstrung by an owner trying to make decisions.

Norwich finished in the playoffs yet their new DoF was allowed to sack Wagner and bring in who HE wanted. Not who Delia wanted.

 

You would think that but some people can't wait to put the boot into the club at times

 

We've spent money and its unfair the notion about not putting money in, its just not true. Short also put a hell of a lot of money (amounts at the time that should of seen us be solidified as a top ten prem team imo) but made horrendous decisions with it and we ended up at the lowest point in our history. We've lost our way the last 6-12 months, KLD needs to get back on track this season, this head coach appointment is huge.

 

id like to think I’m in the middle somewhere. I’ve stuck the boot in tonight but will be supporting the new head coach and team in August no matter what.

 

Honestly **** Farioli btw. Ruined the relationship with the club and mowbray with the 'top target' thing and then leaves Nice which results in them needing a new manager and poaching the Lens manager, meaning Lens need a new man nab Still of us.

You do tend to post "middle of the road type posts" and I have no problem with that, everyone has a right to their opinion. However there are those that look for reasons to have a go at the club no matter what. I'm not happy with not having a head coach in by now - ideally I wanted someone in the week after the season ended but for whatever reason that hasn't happened
