I agree it should be clear and obvious mistakes only. Get rid of the two lines that take an eternity.
I agree that the linesman should let play go on and flag for offside when the play is over. But give VAR a limited time to have a quick look. If it’s too close to call go with the linesman’s decision.
Or let the crowd decide. They always know better. :1980_boogie_down:
The problem now
Is the lazy linesmen who leave it to var
These linemen are as bad a some referees they on act on referees instruction
The linesman was allways as important as the referee he is not used now

Reactions: Blond Bombshell
Some pen-pushing bureaucrat at FIFA trying to justify their existence. Why can't they just leave the game alone. It's done pretty well for 140 years or so.
Tend to agree, although the game has changed a lot since the rules were first codified in 1863.
None of those changes though moved the game away from its basic simplicity. Until the introduction of technology, it was, essentially, the same game whether it was being played at elite level or at the lowest level of organised football. Goal line technology and VAR have changed that now and it was that which made football the most successful and widely played sport in the world.

You don't know what click-bait is, do you? If you did, you definitely wouldn't have used it there.

You seem to use a lot of odd phrases without really having much grasp of what they mean.

I'm English born and bred, so your antipodean nonsense, your nationalist **** doesn't really wash either.

I wouldn't make out there is some sort of unified way of behaving decently in the UK when I'm pretty sure most of your posts boil down to Alex Scott should be fired because the mixed race lesbians are raking over Britain.

Your mate the lawyer told you and she's a person of colour, so it has to be right.

****ing idiot.

Blah blah blah blah ****in' blah....

just do one Dundee.

......****in' insecure little prick. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Steady on you two

Goal line technology and var have added nothing to the joy of the game.

Almost like they had a plan.
I am trying to stay relaxed and hoping we have our man lined up and secured. But I cant help shake a nagging doubt about our ability to get things done effectivel when it comes to head coaches.

We sacked johnson and had a bit faff on.

We sacked Mowbray and had a bit faff on.

Now we have decided to wait 4 months or so. I had hoped the new guy would have been announced by now, even if it were saying he will start in June once commitments are done.

The only pallatable reason for me that its taken this long is that they've chosen their man, are waiting for him to finish his obligations, and can't announce it until then for whatever reason.

Which could potentially rule out Still, unless he's serving a notice period at Reims.

Think the club got their managerial appointments spot on upto Beale. Our next one needs to be spot on.

If it's Still and we are waiting for him to do his pro licence but everything is in place and agreed then I am fine. If we get to the end of May and appoint someone out of work that's been available for months I will be confused.

Just don't like the way we seem to be going about this at all.

Poyet: “Everybody knows one of the owners is Juan Sartori from Uruguay and we are very close. We speak monthly, so I have been in contact over the last 3 months. It's something that will happen. When? It depends on many things, but it's nice that after you leave a place, a few years later they go back and think, 'maybe it wasn't that bad, maybe we had a good time with him!' “
