More of the same then. Just some guff about how difficult it is to release a player. More difficult than it is to achieve nothing in the 3rd tier for the third season in a row. More difficult than watching other teams, far better run, actually compete for a play-off place. Not even an acknowledgment that CAFC has fallen short of where it should be aspiring to be. Never mind by how many country miles. Next season's ST sales will be the lowest in the Club's history since returning to the Valley.

Absolutely, a mid table team says lots of room for improvement=get new/better players in. It will be interesting to see if Holden has an eye for a half decent player.
I have bumped this from May last year, this saves creating another thread I suppose. I think Jones was due to meet the superstars today to advise of their future, or not, with us. Tomorrow could be an interesting day on seeing the released and retained list.
REminds me of the high hopes we had for Aaron Henry. Outstanding technical ability but not much else, his career is just fizzling out early.
Yes. Sadly hopes he could be bought back were forlorn ones. So we now know we only have one player left from our best two last season. Not the greatest start to this latest Summer rebuild.
Hmmmmm, they have to put this out. Until Dobson comes out with something I'm still not convinced. He's a Charlton player till the end of May so a lot can happen.
I agree entirely. That list is just stating the current position. It doesn’t mean that we can’t still sign Dobbo.
