Longstaff probably not, Burn at CH is decent, been motm a few times lately.
It beggars belief at how many “fans” on here seem to wallow in a bad performance.
If you can’t take the bad with the good, go and find something else to do ffs.

Do we have other options though? Bruno, Anderson and Longstaff is pretty much all we can put out for midfield.

The thing he's pointing out is that our left hand side has been our biggest threat and he moved Gordon to accommodate Barnes and it didn't work.

The Spurs game may have worked, but Today was a different opponent and unfortunately the manager didn't get that right... we were disjointed collectively.

Last week Howe got it right but definitely not Today... we were awful.

For me, it’s making **** loads of effort and paying a fortune to get to away matches (when I can) and all that to watch the ****e we produce sometimes. Feel for the fans tonight.

White or even Hall who has played there... play a different formation or something.. there's always more options.I don’t understand why a player that playing badly cannot be replaced even at the moment. What's to lose can white play worse than longstaff? Prove it Howe.

Anyway like I said I wasn't expecting to win Tonight... the next 2 are the important ones but I would be hoping to see Hall and Livramento start.....we know they won't though it'll be the same team probably.

Point is your argument is against playing those players there at all but it did work v Spurs so clearly you’re wrong. Ok it didn’t tonight but not because they absolutely can’t play there. Certainly he should have changed it sooner though. Livramento not getting on at all suggests to me he wasn’t really fit enough to have been on the bench

**** happens, you support through thick and thin and always run the risk of travelling to see a defeat/**** game.

Liverpool fans just paid a ****load to see their team through away the title against their dogshit rivals.

Full credit to the Palace centre backs, amount of times they cut off the final ball tonight was unreal. Another day Isak scores the 1 on 1, we get a penalty and several of the through balls come off.

If the effort of the players matched the fans, we’d win the league every year.

Worzel Gummidge doesn't have a squad no. though.

Longstaff is the only option atm sadly.

Felt like it lacked any of the fluidity or structure of the Spurs game. And, as has been said, Palace aren't Spurs. They don't play remotely similar. Howe seems to have lost that ability to regularly set the team up for the next game.

We were away against a side in form, surely counter attack was the right approach but we didn't feel like we really knew what the plan was. I sympathise that no PL manager should be down to picking players like Krafth, Murphy, Burn, Longstaff, etc. But Howe's petty attempt at showing his limitations in bringing Ritchie and White on lacked class. There's no reason whatsoever to bring Ritchie on. Similarly, why was Livramento even there?

All in all I think Howe's a decent coach, nice bloke, but just really limited. Shown up for the most part in the CL when we actually had a strong squad, dreadful squad rotation/management, inflexibility, too much loyalty. All the hallmarks of someone who will never win anything. His mentality is almost the opposite of people like Jose, Fergie, Pep, etc. Sentimentality can never get you anywhere in football.
