Right, this is my final reply to you because we've done this to death and I'm sure people are getting bored about reading this exchange between us. I perfectly understand that the Gabriel penalty incident was earlier than the Saka incident. I understand why you think the incidents don't cancel themselves out. I also understand, had this earlier penalty been given, the flow of the game may be different. But what I take issue with is the underlying assumption in your posts that Bayern would have maximised the benefits from this situation. I can flip this and say things could have also turned out very differently to what you would have expected. It's all hypothetical and none of us know what would have happened if they were awarded a spot kick. You seem to be convinced Gabriel should have been penalised for the penalty - that's your prerogative. I, on the other hand, do not think it's as straight forward as you're making it out to be. The wildly differences of opinions on this from football analysts, journalists, pundits and ex-players prove that to be the case. I also took issue with you focusing on that one part of my post about incidents levelling themselves out, and your unwavering belief that we should have conceded a penalty changing things, when there were other contentious decisions in the game which you could just as easily argue would have altered the course of events. That's all I have to say on the matter. If you want to reply back, be my guest. But I'm moving on from this now.
He had/has a variety of dives, including initiating contact and throwing himself to ground: please log in to view this image This was actually given as a penalty, believe it or not. Against Utd, too. There's also the classic leg drag, which didn't come off in this case: The one you're talking about was reviewed by VAR. They still ****ed it up: More penalties for them in that game than for us this season in all competitions...
Sheffield United have been docked 2 points for their next season in the EFL. They also have another 2 point deduction suspended in the case that they reoffend. They failed to make payments to other clubs in the 22/23 season. It would take a miracle to stay up now, so this is basically next season.
Leverkusen struggled to get through the last round. Carrier bag was it? Goals in the 94th and 98th minutes after trailing. It may be closer than you think. They are in great form, but the Bundesliga is nowhere near the standard of the PL
The Spanners will fight hard, as they cannot currently guarantee entry into the EL next season courtesy of their PL placing.
Woolwich players diving around all over the place trying to cheat penalties, with Saka and Havertz particularly bad, disgusting.
Leverkusen don't wear white shirts with navy shorts, so there's no reason for Fabianski to impersonate The Great Wall of China
Disagree, the PL isn’t as strong as people make out A poor Bayern team went to the emirates against the best Arsenal team for decades and got a draw
