Aye it's definitely getting the Officer Barbrady treatment "move along people, nothing to see here"<laugh>

We need a new manager, new players, some players out, etc, and a complete reset in the club ...

... this incident was a mess but I'd personally rather we got on with more important things.

No matter what's said some people won't be happy, which is fair enough.

It's completely within the club's power to remove the BCB fiasco from the 'easy ways to bash the club' pile. Take care of the issues you can quickly and it gives them more time to focus on the more important stuff.

Some people simply won't accept that.

The failing can't be remedied, it was a unique set of circumstances that will probably never happen again.
Time for to move on it should not have happened but it is history , disciplinary action has probably happened but quite rightly this has to be kept private between the club and the individual or individuals as it is in any business .

It may well be legally impossible to sack anyone or reveal any disciplinary action ...

... but some people 'want blood' and believe they have the right to demand it.

Someone in the maintenance of the bridge that's just collapsed or the maintenance of the ship may have been the cause.

It's still not guaranteed that they can be personally 'named and shamed'.

The club was at fault, in the BCB situation, have said so and apologised.

That may be all they can legally do ... but some will see it as a cover up or whitewash, perhaps because they want to.

Down now if this post is to be believed…

Some will, some won't.

Not doing the right thing because some people will still complain is not how to run a successful business. Some people will always complain and will never be won back round.

So it won't 'shut that line of complaint off' as you suggested it would..

Perhaps they've already done the right thing.

The ISOE post above was on the same day this thread was started.

Even if heads did (or could) publicly roll for the BCB mess, it wouldn’t put the thing to bed. The club would be right back in the newspapers and media with it all getting dragged through the mud again.

Edit:

I’m not saying that I hope it’s just been swept under the carpet. More that the saga has been professionally and thoroughly dealt with by the club - with some sort of detail in the RAWA minutes.
