Why the **** is it cheaper for me to order dog food to be shipped from Denmark and delivered to my house than it is to drive to a shop that sells it here?
I mean it’s not just internet shopping because any UK company sells the same thing miles more expensively (£110ish instead of £86 delivered from Denmark)
No bloody wonder the environment is ****ed and no one here has any money!

I believe it could be because the UK charges VAT on pet food at standard rate, whereas in a lot of Europe, pet food is classed in the same category as food, and hence, vat free.

Don't have a dog. Save money on food, vet bills, little black plastic bags, and save the environment too. No?

Precisely
However Mrs Tash won that battle long ago.
Have both said we’re not having any more when these pass away. Might have helped that I explained that not having dogs would be the same as getting a £10k+ a year pay rise!!! (wish I’d not worked that out tbh)

. And use the money saved to jet off on holidays destroying the environment?
