Still boggles my mind why we haven't had a stand or a corner named after Ian. Stadium is 27 years old and we have one stand named after an old stand.

Just to try and lighten the mood a bit....
Made some steak and kidney puddings today, bloody lovely they were.
Best I've ever had.

We went for a 'treat' yesterday at Kingsbarns on the Fife coast.

It was with Wild Scottish Sauna on the beach and involves sitting in a steam room, with a one way window, watching the waves crashing in. Then, as an extra treat, you walk down the beach for a swim, back to the sauna and repeat.

I've just checked and the water temperature today is 4 degrees ...

... it was hard to concentrate on walking in when your brain is screaming, 'WTF are you doing you idiot' <laugh>

We're travelling home from Cape Verde today, flight delayed by four hours.

We're fine in our hotel with all inclusive, spare a thought for the poor buggers on the flight out here from Newcastle. They took off on time but had to turn around over the Bay of Biscay due to a technical issue and flew back to Manchester. Five hours after boarding the plane in Newcastle they took off from Manchester to come here. Poor sods.

We've loved it, but it is quiet with not much to do. We're about a 20 minute walk from Santa Maria which as far as I can tell is pretty much the only town on Sal. It's a lovely little town, a few bars restaurants and shops but that's about it.
