Toon have only had 3 attempts on target since VVD was sent off ... that's poor at home against any team when you're top 4 but against 10 men it's woeful
Can't disagree, we've not created much at all and don't deserve to win. Similar story last season when we went down to 10 men in the same fixture as we were then the better team in the second half despite being a man down but on that occasion Liverpool held on for the win.
Needed to score a second and only fleetingly looked like doing so.
