Going out tonight for a 24k gold steak. Tomahawk. 600-700 grams. Blue.

Not the kind of food I’m supposed to be eating but I’ve been good lately so this is a treat for myself.

 

Fully support the choice of blue though I’d go rare with a tomahawk. Never had the gold- does it taste of anything? Gold I suppose.

 

Never had one before. I suspect it will taste of beef, though.

 

I'd go rare not blue. It's very thick and could get a bit cold in the middle if cooked blue.

 

Med rate for me, texture of rare/blue is a strange one(personally)
