yep

We battered them for 25 minutes but actually palace were on top towards the end of the half and the goal wasn’t out if the blue. Then they score, we chase the game, they score, repeat.
I was sat with Eire and we could not understand what was happening... Nothing that's what happened. That spanish coach was garbage.

We started conceding more goals, scoring less goals and dropped two places in the league after Marsch left. The players stopped trying too.

As I said at the time, no manager in the world could have kept us up with that defence. No surprise we've struggled so far this season with the likes of Cooper, Struijk, Ayling and Meslier playing key roles thus far.

My back line would be...

----------------------Darlow
Dramah---Cresswell---Rodon--Byram

In a perfect world buy a ****ing left back!

Don't want to watch the failures of last season ruin another season.
I just want to see players in a balanced squad. Not six fecking wingers and no strikers. A lot will depend this season on who we bring in. A quality mid and striker are a must. Mcgurk can come into the squad after his performance at old toilet.

As milky just said the first 30 mins we were excellent, then tactically Palace made an adjustment and we lost our way.

Roca & McKennie were awful second half as they were always too advanced for a pair supposedly playing as a double pivot. This left a massive gap between our back four and midfield which Palace exploited ruthtlessly.

Not sure if anything happened at HT but it was like Roca & McKennie couldn't bear the sight of each other and didn't perform in any way shape or form. Roca conceded the foul just before HT which led to the equaliser so who knows maybe there was a falling out over that.

Wasn't there a rumour they had to be parted in the dressing room at HT

Seems we're still destined for the Top 6 and a tilt at the play offs this season.

Odds before a ball was kicked 8/11

Currently 10/11

Gracia was out coached and out thought by Hodgson simple as that.

We're short as it is mate and possibly Sini and Summerville Hjelde to go too, we can't afford any more gone

Agree. We need a few in first but there are more that need to go imo long term. The likes of Meslier, Ayling, Struijk, Cooper, Firpo, Bamford, Gelhardt, Poveda, Shackleton, Greenwood are either past it or not good enough. We can upgrade on all those over the next two transfer windows. Obviously some of them have a chance to grab the shirt whilst we are short of numbers.

They'll do for where we are mate but if and when we go up, we would definitely need a much better squad.

Can't even begin to think about what we might need for the PL as the squad we have now would just get battered every week. As you say just concentrate on the now and make improvements all over the pitch whenever possible.

Automatic promotion looking difficult already given what we currently have and it's looking like Leicester & Saints will fill those spots for me. That said glorious promotion through the play offs would be most welcome <ok>

The issue with promotion is the £100m of players we have out on loan. We need to deal with them before we can start trading again. The loans have held us back this summer and will handicap us next summer too whatever happens. It’s been a fook up mate. This season could be bolloxed and next summer going to be as bad

Womens football is officially shyt. Tried to watch but England were outplayed, outfought and outclassed. Spain deserved it because they were first to everything and scored a lucky goal. Some England players were very poor even Lucy Bronze who was shocking and at fault for the goal. Feel sorry for them but the BBC and politicians will be bigging them up and inviting them to the palace, No10 and Parliament etc. the facts though is that they have been nowhere near the form of last year and have still got to the final so fair play to them but ….. walked the dog and missed the 2nd half
