Aye I was half expecting something today because of what Tony said but it could easily be over the next few days.
We need to see what the player is like over a few games then worry. He probably isn’t even the only forward/striker we’re getting. It’s clear we don’t or won’t pay the ‘going rate’ for a championship ready striker but maybe that’s because we have a deal lined up for Stewart. If neither there are questions to ask but a striker in who has scored goals and may score more is not a worry to me. Signing none was a worry
I think it was maybe the chronicle who implied imminent but Mowbray implied could roll into Saturday. Either way he’s not starting Saturday not training Sunday so Monday is the same difference.
Im beyond caring now tbf. All i know is we could have had a good go at it this season. If it wasnt for Ballard,Batth and Alese injured in the playoffs wed be in the Prem now. If it wasnt also for Evans and Stewart being out we would certainly be up now.
