We have to remember this will have been his first full transfer window in management. Maybe he didn’t realise how difficult it would be, hence the ‘get business in early’ comment. It’s not the crime of the century is it. We’ll see how successful the transfer window has been at the end of the month, and then no doubt decide if Acun’s done a great job or further proof that Rosenior isn’t up to the job.
So divide it by 90 and you get an equivalent of full games by comparison. 3 goals and 1 assist in an equivalent of 6 games is something that we'd be quite excited about if it was one of our own youngsters - especially if you look at his previous L1 record for a youngster also.
He’s a dead ball specialist something we massively lack in anything around the box he’s a massive danger
One of those games he was brought on in injury time to take a free kick against West Brom..... naaaaah I cant be arsed...
And your point is? He's averaged a goal every 2 games worth of minutes he's played in the champ. That shows at least some promise to me.
There's definitely things to be excited about for sure, but it's still another young, inexperienced, unproven player ( at champ level )
Good jub there look to be 4 others incoming, but are we desperately short of experience as we are really?
And if they do, they probably aren’t aiming high enough. The Twine transfer shows the complexities, basically had to wait until Burley had done their business. There’s always a danger a similar rival,is suddenly flush from a player sale and want to replace them (Brizzies). Do you wait or move away from your main target? Sounds a tough gig, and I suspect is left to Acun, Tan and others in the recruitment dept. Apart from naming his targets, LR will have little input, though seems to be his fault that things haven’t happened despite the window only just starting to get going.
The winger sounds like he could be exciting. Baz in his Q&A said: "Hello. 10th was my start of season prediction but in truth, until the window closes, none of us have any great idea. If City get the four or five names I've been given then there will be expectation of a higher placed finish, if not, 10th is probably about fair." "Bird is one to watch. City have their value and Derby have theirs. I'm told the player wants to come and we'll have to see how it plays out. What happens with the winger they're in talks with will have a direct impact on Bird because like with anything, there's only so much money to go around." Reading between the lines it sounds like it could be a sizeable fee, for a top player
Where's is our experience in the final third of the field? In goal - Ingram has all the experience and absolutely nothing below him if he gets injured. Defence - yea we are now getting an experienced back 4 from pretty much whoever starts But final third what champ/English experience do we really have?
Livingston on loan and bench warming for rangers to man u in 2 seasons seems a little far fetched. Goes without saying if they want him they'll get him though. Agreed in the final 3rd we probably are a little short. Defence and midfield though we have proven individuals, but then recruitment seems to be focussed on the area you highlight.
I half expected to see him on the bench. Ramsey and a few others not over the line yet. He's also played more minutes than most in pre season for them
I wouldn't be surprised if Manure hadn't even heard of this goalkeeper... 4 games last season and Rangers obviously didnt think he was goods enough so brought in Butland...It’s believed Rangers want £1million for him but are willing to accept a lower offer for McCrorie, providing add ons are worth it with a sell on fee included as well. whooooopee doooooo. I think I'd rather have one of our bench warmers...
