Let’s be honest, if these are the signings we’re going for, we’re lightyears away from promotion.
We’ll see, I’m not entirely convinced by the style of football yet. But teams like Cov and Luton did it through signings like this so I wouldn’t write it off on that basis. I’m more concerned with how little we create chances and how fragile we look after conceding

I know nothing about him but on a free transfer, Lokilo’s not exactly a risky and expensive signing like Sinik was.
His goal and assist record almost equals Sinik in his last full season there despite playing a fraction of the games.
And he's lived in England before so should settle no problem.

Let’s face it, unless we sell one of Greaves or Óscar (maybe even both), we’re probably not going to spend much in the way of transfer fees so it will be loans and free transfers. Personally, I’d like to see us invest £2-3 million on a quality defensive midfielder but that probably won’t happen unless we sell some of our most valuable assets. Likewise, I can’t see us spending big on wingers for the same reason.
Wonder if Ethemi is a back-up if the "highly-rated Prem winger" who has been mentioned by the HDM?
Can't imagine we're in for Ethemi, Lokilo & the highly-rated Prem winger... Unless Longman is on his way out?
That said, I'd maybe look to bring those in and then offer Derby £2m plus Longman and Doc for Knight and Bird.

Just reading more about Lokilo. He’s played for Donny in League 1 and it seems he struggled at that level. He also signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year with Sparta Rotterdam last summer, was loaned out in January and has since been released from his contract at Sparta Rotterdam a few days ago by mutual consent despite having a year left plus the option.
Whilst it’s a free transfer, it’s still a bit odd. Reminds me of when we signed that Austrian kid Mayer in League 1 and he barely played.
