He was an absolutely terrific signing. Excellent for us in League one, a great pro and a great influence to have around for our younger players.

Mount to Man Utd is a class signing. Hell of a good player and will fit in perfectly for them.

Oh and the small matter of Amad being further down the pecking order.

 

Ridiculous in my opinion. Works for us this season but get promoted and you’re going up against the likes of City/Liverpool who have basically another PL squad on the bench.

 

Would let him go no bosh if a fee was there tbf. Nice lad and club clearly in his heart but if we want to be up there this season he’s not a make or break player.

 

Is it just for Championship clubs, if so, great for getting younger players involved.

 

I wasn't aware of this, but looking at the size of our squad, it's good news. We can have a spot for a youngster just to gain experience by being part of the squad every week.

He always comes across as such a top bloke on the behind the scenes stuff and I can imagine him being an incredibly popular member of the dressing room.

Played his part here and has always been a hundred percenter. Wish him the best of luck in his move.

 

Me neither and as a player I wasn’t his biggest fan, cracking bloke by all accounts and never shirked a challenge but he set the tone that night when he flattened Callum Patterson I think it was in the opening couple of minutes and we never looked back.
Also played in the playoff final when he’d been unwell for a few days before the final.
Good servant and wish him nothing but the best in his future.
