Good player but not sure hes what we need. If we can sign permanently then 100%. He is better coming from a wider position, struggles when playing centrally as not great with back to play. Hes really dangerous out wide right tho, great pace n very direct. Good composure in the final 3rd as well. He would provide great competition for roberts but id rather see how jewi n lihadji look in preseason before going for him

I have actually reccomended him to the club i scout for, so we are looking at potential loan move for him

I don't doubt Hendo is still good enough for a bottom-half Prem team. But he's a Sunderland lad through and through. I would agree with this. Henderson has always said he wants to end his career here. If he moves to another club on a 2-3 year contract then that scenario would probably be at an end. I can't see us signing a 35 year old. Thankfully, those days are over.

How much was Clarke bought for again?

I'd love the club to keep him if he is happy here, screw the money. He has shown he is a top quality championship player minimum

If it was me I’d line up three players. One who I think could strengthen or equal that position, one who would be the development player for that position and one to strengthen another position. If the fee reaches that game on. The length of his contract gives us that.

Exactly, and £9m is an absolute joke for a 22 year old home grown player with his stats...not to mention it was in a team full of kids and no strikers to occupy the defenders. Along with Roberts, I expect massive things from Clarke next season in a more settled and mature team.
