“Jude Bellingham’s brother Jobe has travelled to the Stadium of Light ahead of a potential move to Sunderland.

Jobe, 17, is the younger brother of Jude, the Borussia Dortmund midfielder who is one of the most coveted players in Europe. Jobe currently plays for Birmingham Cityin the Championship but is on the cusp of a summer move to Sunderland.”

Whilst I hope he comes and apparently there's a lot of clubs after him, I just hope it's not a case of him instead of michut. I think michut is going to be a hell of a player. Imagine having Neil, Ekwah, Michut and Bellingham to choose from. Unbelievable really the recruitment and investment in youth

Can we add Henderson and Evans to that. It would be the best midfield we’d have had in decades.

It's worth pointing out that the lad is just 17. He's closer in age to Chris Rigg and Tommy Watson than he is to Michut and Ekwah.

To have played 22 times at Championship level at his age is a remarkable achievement in itself. Even if he didn't stand out, the fact that he doesn't look out of place either shows the potential this kid has.

It would be an exciting signing, but I wouldn't be expecting a match winner next season. He's not his brother (which is not a criticism).

He was definitely there there’s a video goi g around of him on pitch after the game.

I’ll try find that but think was on Tik-Tok so could be anywhere.

Seen a social post with a load of Brum fans saying ‘he’d never go there’ few days ago, stunned me that they seem to think they are par or bigger than us. Really? Ha.

He isn’t Jude 2.0 but Phil Neville had a great career. I’m sure there’s a better example. Jacky v Bobby Charlton?

Thorgan Hazard?

It's probably not that Birmingham are comparing themselves to us, but more likely that they've seen him linked with Liverpool etc. and we seem a very sideways step in comparison.

Lee Howey > Cnut Howey

I’d be buzzing with this but I also know the Bellingham family are close friends with Dodds. Weren’t Jude and Jobe at our play off games, last season?
