individually, batth, cirkin, hume, ballard are all getting good reviews from the fans but as a 'unit' with evans just in front and the 'back-up' of patto they just work so well and when they get back up to speed with the wingers it all knits together...i am always one that likes to see a side build from the back and love seeing the same defensive line every week but even with the horrible amount of injuries even the lads coming in have held the line well, we have at the moment a decent looking midfield group as well who can only improve, get the striker solution sorted and one or two more then this squad will keep playing as they do and get the wins needed for next season.

Thats a brilliant back 5 for next season if we keep them all and they are all fit btw.

I am celebrating the end of a really nice weekend, topped off by the lads.

Have opened a jar of home pickled gherkins, got some Cornish Yarg and a packet of nice crackers. Got a glass of strong cider and will probably enjoy a glass or two AnCnoc later. If I talk rubbish, blame the gherkins :emoticon-0136-giggl

As well as the big successes of this season, I hope that the nearly men can make more good progress. Gelhardt, Ba and Lihadji jump to mind.

It is a breath of fresh air to have a whole group of players that you like and want to will them to succeed.

I absolutely despised some of the players who constituted Moyes' squad ...

... my least favourite player, at the moment, is Stewart.

And that's only because his injury has cost us promotion.

Very nice

I made a curry with leftover lamb from yesterday. Opened a bottle of Clocktower Sav, and easing into Tuesday and my new job.
