My mate went out with that many tugs they called him the Queen Mary round our way.
Not taking anything away from the vessels and men who sailed them into a war zone, the Norland was the largest and played a key role in the war by carrying 2 para right into San Carlos water to drop off them off. I believe 9 vessels from Hull were commandeered by the MoD.
I know, I was referring to those from Hull. It was the Norland not Normand by the way.
As far as I know there were almost 50 ships taken up from trade as part of the task force. Norland is interesting from a local perspective but I suspect not especially for the wider population.

It Snowed Last night.
8-00 am : I made a Snowman.
8-10 - A Lady passed by and asked me why I didn't make a Snow woman.
8-15 so I made a Snow woman.
8-18 my female neighbour complained about the snow woman's voluptuous chest, saying it objectified snow women everywhere.
8-20 The gay couple living nearby threw a Hissy fit and moaned it could have been two snowmen instead.
8-23 I was asked why I hadn't just made a snow person
8-25 The vegans at the end of the lane complained about the carrot nose, as veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with.
8-28 I was being called a racist because the snow couple was white.
8-31 The Muslim gentleman across the road demanded the snow woman wear a Burqa.
8-35 The police arrive and say someone has been offended.
8-38 The female neighbour complained again, that the Broomstick on the snow woman needed to be removed because it depicted women in a domestic role.
8-40 The council equity officer arrives and threatened me with eviction.
8-45 TV crews from the BBC showed up, I was asked if there was a difference between a snowman and a snow woman! I replied
" snowballs" and am now called a sexist.
8-50 I was on the news a a suspected terrorist, Racist, Homophobe sensibility offender, bent on stirring up trouble during difficult weather.
8-55 I was asked if I had any accomplices, my children were taken into care.
9-00 Far left protesters offended by everything March down my street demanding I be arrested.
Moral.

Has anyone actually been cancelled for voicing an opinion? It seems a lot claim to be cancelled and then continue their paid career complaining in rival media outlets about it.
By odd, I meant that it was odd that Gary Lineker's opinion on immigration is even acknowledged nationally. What is Alvin Martin's point of view regarding the ULEZ expansion? Will Ian Culverhouse be commenting on the Northern Ireland Protocol?
