I wouldn't disagree with that. Destruction of this one state union should be the first step. The fact that in 2014 all the usual suspects were against our independence should tell you that it's is actually a good thing.

Because Republicans have a process in place to achieve a United Ireland. Leaving the EU wasn't part of that process although it has worked in our favour. You can't just jump from one stance to another as it suits you at that particular time. You also can't have referendum after referendum because a completely separate vote went against you.
Why do you think apart from the odd sound bite Sinn Fein aren't calling for a border poll? They don't want one, my arse would collapse in the morning if they called a referendum tomorrow.
Lose that and you can forget it for a generation because no **** would want to go through the same inane political ****e again.
And that's taking into account that the GFA states that after the first referendum there will be one every SEVEN years. (Yes, the Unionists signed that but surely it was an oversight?)
No ****er wants a referendum on the same subject every 7 years, folk are sick to the back teeth with politics as it is.
