He is clueless and it's costing us points and injuries while he gets to learn English league football.
I would add to this, Rodrigo is definitely one of those players that hate to not be picked - Jesse trying to get Paddy a bit fitter but still not upset Rodrigo too much. Don't really see what else he could have done?
It would have been quite funny… could have played him at left back and see if we improved … (only kidding Jammy… I’m seeing hope in firpo - and not just ‘bob’ and ‘no’ honest )
For all the debate about risking him... and our website said he was injured in the game. But bone damage and ankle ligaments that require an operation? I've done that more than once and needed a stretcher. I didn't see him get flattened by these 'thugs' we played and he was running freely at the end of the game. Perhaps JM will clarify what happened in today's presser.
Rodrigo was exceptionally aggressive when he came on. I dunno if he'd seen Paddy play well, Georginio play well and was trying to prove a point but he threw himself (recklessly imo) into 3 or 4 tackles in his short spell on the pitch. He certainly wasn't holding back. That's the kind of edge we need and will get with stronger depth in the squad. For example, Roca, Aaronson, Harrison and Greenwood will all think the arrival of McKennie spells danger for them and I'd expect them to raise their levels higher. It's good for the club but once again in a Leedsy fashion, we end up with the top scorer out injured. Maybe Jesse needs to piss on all 4 corners of the pitch again like Don did.
so.. happened late in the game apparently. … must have been when he over ran the ball and kicked the defenders foot when trying to shoot late on.
