I'd play ASM for now personally. Looked good against Southampton the first time. Wilson's been anonymous recently.
I think they should go with ASM and Isak, with one eye on bringing Gordon on for either wide player this weekend. Then Gordon will win a pen.
Joelinton into cm and I would think max will start and get hooked if he doesn't perform. Isak won't start ahead of Wilson.
Wilson's record against West Ham is superb........Let's give him Saturday. My hope is the players have had a fire lit to earn a cup final starting place rather than bottling out of tackles fearing injury.
We will find out about Isak in Eddie's presser tomorrow i suppose. If he says anything other than he's out then he's ok.
Just noticed Forrest don't play till Sunday, wonder if Shelvey will be sat on the bench and in the changing room on Saturday night
For all Wilson isn’t doing as much, he’s in a team the destroyed Soton for the first 20 mins. Isak, like Bruno, is going to be immense. But Howe gets it - it takes time. ASM in, otherwise more of the same and HwTL.
Think we will lose 2-1 here. Without Bruno we lack that killer pass and West Ham are a better team than the league suggests. **** I hope we don’t lose tho. If we do & spurs win they’ve caught us up!
I think we can still grind out a result here, even without Btuno. It will partly be down to whether the lads have managed to refocus after the celebrations of getting through to the cup final. It could either lift them, or their heads will be elsewhere. But I think Eddie and the coaching staff will do a good job of getting them grounded and focused back on the PL. Here's hoping anyway.
If he's available then stick him in the feckin starting line up. Get him playing full matches and ready to start in the final.
I'm 100% he would have started without the knock on the head, it may be Wilson now with him replacing on about 60-65 mins. I think ASM will start.
We'll be fine - yes, some specific training ground stuff will have to be avoided as we're just not as blessed across the board - but we're going to be good enough to win I feel. My only concern is more than Maxi will offer BDB less protection than Big Joe, and West Ham might target that, but - we'll have had since Tuesday to work on something in training. To win - they have to score. Can't see them notching two.
