How is that cheating?
Spreading the cost of the fees over a longer period makes more financial sense.
Unless FFP rules explicitly state you cannot do that, which, as far as I know, they dont.
Its a riskier move for Chelsea if anything, because if a player turns out to be a dud, he is tied to a LOOOONG contract on massive wages, which means we will have a hell of a time trying to shift them.

EDIT: Just looked it up and FIFA rules states contracts should be no more than 5 years, but it states that each nations governing body can opt out of that statute if they wish, its merely a guideline, and the English FA opted out.

We will get to the final and lose on penalties, it's just what we do. I'm mentally preparing myself.

I think our first trophy will be the league in about 3-5 years, we need to win it by 5 points or so.

Cup finals are too much of a lottery and i'll be ****ting myself.

In a one off final though, you need to try to actually win the game, rather than try to not lose.

All this pissing around time wasting doesn't suit a Wembley final either. You'd have the onus on you to change your MO, and it would suit us completely to go at it.

Believe it or not, we do have some squad members with memories of winning stuff as well.

1 game newcastle have not been attacking and it was Arsenal away ... I've noticed this narrative creeping in since, but if you look at our numbers it tells a different story.

I'd be happy for teams to attack us because the sides that haven't we ended ended up drawing with.

Memories won't matter it's who's the best right now or at that moment.

You wrote all that to deny cheating, right.

While I'm glad we are doing well, the spam in here about Newcastle is so intense even I don't want to be here.

Like, pipe down the obnoxious **** for a day or two thanks

It's just comical banter on a message board man, thankfully the mods on here can see that, it's harmless stuff.

I'd make you guys 70-30 favourites IF we both get there. Our main hope is that you've got European games either side of it (Barcelona I think). I think Southampton are on an upsurge though and aren't going down, our first leg down there is going to be a tight game. I've not got the confidence of some of our fanbase. You guys should smash Forest though, that was the team we all wanted!

I think we need something to bring up to yours to have any chance. Can't see a situation where we lose the first leg and comeback up there.

If we can get a lead though I'd fancy our chances of frustrating you up there and maybe nicking a goal on the break or from a Ward Prowse free kick.

I just hope you don't win the first one comfortably as the 650 mile round trip midweek will suddenly look less appealing!

It is rather dull isn't it?

Don't mind it so much from Chaos as he's been around for ages but the influx of posters who never posted here until this season is beyond tiresome.

All that's happened this morning is me chief and and few other have debated football tbf. Nobody had been disrespectful or unpleasant as far I have seen.

The knives are out and it's Saturday morning though..
