Wow what's gone on here man. I hardly come on here and quite regular poster over the road (Hate that saying) but ha way lads and lasses. Some good posters here imploding . As my Mam used to say to me and my older brothers when we fought. "Stop fighting each other, and fight the buggers against us all!"

Keep smiling everyone. Tough time of the year after Christmas, tensions are high. Keep ya heads and don't turn on each other. I haven't posted for ages so can be told where to shove it, but if it was real life and i popped in a pub and saw lads I respect arguing I'd say the same, and no one would say you never normally drink in here so F off.

Don't let others ruin a good site for you all . We're all SAFC man at the end of the day

I have been practically living at the hospital with my seriously ill mam for the last 2 weeks and have not been on here very much, obviously something has happened but what I will say is life is too short for any bad feelings between let’s face it adult football supporters. I’ve cried, I’ve barely slept and had to make some awful decisions alongside organising last wishes etc. Thankfully with the grace of God my mam appears to be pulling through and looks to have turned a corner. During the midst of the worst period of her illness bridges were built and family grievances forgotten and resolved. As a family we are a lot stronger and once my mam fully recovers we will all be a lot happier. Some people have nobody and look to places like this for support, friendship and advice. Largely during my time on here I have seen outpourings of support, help and love. Let’s forgive and forget whatever has gone on and get back to becoming the 606 family it has been. The genuine people will outlast the wind up merchants and in time the wind up merchants will be filtered out and disposed of. Anyway I’m climbing down of my soap box and going to see my lovely mam and try to cheer her up. Peace & love everyone

God bless you marra and prayers for your mam. This place is the best where strangers can share their experiences and help is always forthcoming.

Didn’t consider that “ soap box” at all mate . Wonderful words that held a worthwhile message for us all - let’s not lose all the good because of a small , short term piece of bad .
Love to your mam , thinking of her , you and your family

Glad to hear about your mam and family mate. Nowt more important!

Good evening.

Is there any possibility that this can be put to bed and move on? I'm not trying to step on toes and trying to tell grown gentlemen how to behave, but this is a great forum. Laugh, advice and football. Unsavoury in the past week. My point, is there a way to move forward, draw lines and get back to how it was?

Great Post and fantastic news your mam is pulling through.
It is 29 years to the day I had to sit with my dad as they pulled the plug on my mam and had to kiss her goodbye and I remember it vividly.
Good luck
