Fsg received a lot of interest, according to fsg partner Sam Kennedy…
I read something yesterday about John Henry saying he's not only interested in the offers but also in who/where the offer is coming from. You could read into that that (unlike you) he is concerned about leaving us in good hands. :bandit:

Tom Werner confirms they are exploring a sale, but no urgency, no time frame and outcome may be they continue ownership.

Think it’s what most expected really. Open to small investment or a full takeover but not desperate

so werner admits they lied when asked about it initially?

All this cynicism isn't good for you you know. Bring back fanboy mito :)

I read exactly what he said and the original statement that was issued following this story and the two don't tally.

Looking for investment is not looking for sale so the original statement isn't truthful. simple really.

Looking for investment via selling shares is still a sale, just not a complete sale

Direct quote bbc webshite (pun intended)

"We're exploring a sale, but there's no urgency, no time frame for us, and as far as I'm concerned, it's business as usual," Werner told the Boston Globe

Can't be more clear talking to his yank contacts but have not opened their mouth the lfc fans at all.

Utter and total disconnect at this point. No statement on this has come put on lfc website to fans. No statements bar the lie to British media.

Fsg would want to realise its not business as usual when you do this.

I'd imagine they've been exploring the idea of a sale for a decade.

Business folk will always sell if the price is right

Cynicism doesn't mean denying the truth or reality. It's general.attitude. You must have noticed it about yourself lately :bandit:

The facts can't be denied.

Here's is Tom werner talking to Boston press about selling us but they have not talked to the actual fans about this.

PSG selling now, "a minority share", claim to value themselves a 4 billion. Surely PSG is a much less valuable brand than Liverpool. If they're 4 billion €'s are we 6? <laugh>

Not sure what to make of PSG, if they get a minority investor will they expect that investor to help funnel silly money into the club via backdoors? Or do PSG plan to go "straight" now?

Is it a way they can bypass ffp? They sell a 'minority' to another member of the Qatar royal family (or someone similar) and funnel that money back into the club, meaning they can spend it and claim it as income.

Or perhaps spending **** knows on PSG's wages and god knows how many hundreds of billions on hosting the world cup, Qatar is counting the losses.

Well given there's no money in French football and mbappe is on 1mil a week, messi 500k and neymar 500k I'd suggest it's pretty hard to pretend you are meeting ffp
