On the topic of what's in the fridge (basically nowt in ours cos we need to go shopping!) but I was wondering what are everyone's thoughts on whether chocolate should go in the fridge - the missus says yes but I reckon no cos it knacks your teeth and the top of your mouth when you try to bite into it
I put it in freezer. Lasts longer before melting in mouth

I will say to the missus I'm just popping out for a few "essentials" and come back with just a case of Kronenberg and Guinness.

Chocolate? For me I only buy dark chocolate, and it goes in the fridge. Love a couple of bits with a whisky. Exception to the dark chocolate is Cadbury chocolate with Turkish delight in it, though haven't had that for a while.

Cheese. Love a bit of nice mature cheddar, though I like most British cheeses....I can't get away with French soft cheeses.

The top shelf in my fridge is taken up with boxes of the Mrs. EPO injections...definately doesn't make me smile.

Years ago I used to get these little crispy breads, like mini baguettes already cut in half length ways, but really crispy, in a bag of about 15. Only about 3 inches long or so and cover them in garlic and herb cream cheese. Lovely.

Can't seem to get the breads any more for some reason though.
Swiss Crispbreads ? I think , liked them with loads of butter on

anyone tried the supermarket smoked mackerel for brekkies its lush like kipper only better no salt
Love a bit of smoked mackerel, but never had it for breakfast.
I just peel the skin off and eat it cold....nice with some bread n butter.

When I worked offshore we used to catch fresh mackerel in the summer.....now that is unreal.
